Owner/Lead Attorney

Brian Lisonbee

Brian lives in Lincoln, NE with his wife and five children. Originally from Utah, he earned a B.S. in Sociology from BYU. Brian graduated with his J.D. from the University of Nebraska, and has been practicing immigration law ever since. He worked for three different law firms before taking the leap to start his own business. When Brian is not working or coaching his kids' teams, he enjoys reading, fishing, biking, and traveling.

Administrative Coordinator

Erin Lisonbee

When Erin is not taking care of her five kids, or working in the public schools, she helps Brian with a wide range of administrative tasks. Erin values her role supporting the law firm's employees as they serve clients in the best way possible. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young University, and is currently studying to complete an EdS Degree in School Psychology. Erin loves spending time with her family, listening to audiobooks and traveling to new (and familiar) destinations.

Rez Estevez

Rez is an EB-1A expert specializing in self-petitions for high-caliber professionals evidencing sustained acclaim in sciences, business, and more. As a global workforce mobility leader, she served as lead counsel to Fortune 100 IT firms, crafting strategies for tens of thousands of visa-dependent employees amid pandemics and challenging governmental policy. A national authority in employment-based immigration, she defended against DOL/DHS inquiries and enforcement and built scalable operations and compliance across the Americas, UK, EU, and APAC.

Business Manager

Heidi Vessels

Heidi grew up in Chicago and has also lived in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Detroit, Kansas City, and Salt Lake City. She greatly values the diversity she’s experienced and enjoys meeting people from all walks of life. She holds a B.S. in psychology as well as an MBA with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior / Human Resources from BYU. Professionally, she has worked with companies large and small as a business analyst, project manager, and human resources consultant. She enjoys playing guitar and running outdoors.

Kristin Duke

Kristin has a master's degree in education from University of Nebraska - Lincoln, with a primary focus on immigration and intercultural competence. She has worked as preschool teacher, reading specialist, and a technical writer and quality assurance manager at an engineering consultancy firm. Kristin's family includes her husband, two grown sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law and daughter who will graduate from high school this year.

Ana Arreola

Ana lives in Chandler, Arizona with her two children and their rescue dog. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and is experienced in both employment-based and family-based immigration. Originally from Mexico, Ana is a native Spanish speaker and has also lived in Japan and the UK. She enjoys traveling, leisurely hikes, board games, and being with her family.

Sarah Goldsworthy

Sarah lives in Alaska with her husband and two children. She earned a BBA in Economics from the University of Alaska and an MBA in International Business from Liberty University. She has experience in many aspects of immigration, including naturalization, and family and employment-based adjustment of status. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, reading and traveling.

Stacey Miller

Stacey grew up in Lincoln, NE with her 11 siblings. Today she lives in Parma, ID with her husband and their six kids. Stacey has gained many skills over the last 20 years of being a mom, including, but not limited to; throwing amazing birthday parties, how to sneak snacks inconspicuously, and hostage negotiations. In her free time, she enjoys writing, reading historical fiction, watching Korean dramas, organizing everything, baking and most especially soaking up all the fleeting moments with her husband and children.

Christine Jepsen

Christine received her education at Brigham Young University. She worked in public interest law in Utah before moving from the state. Over the years she has worked with other attorneys writing contracts, researching law, constructing legal arguments, and writing pleadings. Originally from California, Christine currently lives in Henderson, NV with her husband. She has 3 children. A good day would be her family joining her in a visit to the art museum, followed by a Killers concert, and a pizza from Evel Pie.

Haley Anderson

Haley holds B.S. degrees in Exercise Science and Nutrition with a minor in Chemistry. She excelled as competitive cross country and track and field athlete during her time at Southern Utah University. In addition to her love for athletics and outdoors, Haley is an avid reader and spends a lot of her free time writing creatively. Before working for Lisonbee Immigration Law, she worked as an exercise therapist at a hospital. Haley currently resides in Flagstaff, AZ with her husband.

Joanna Moody

Joanna earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Brigham Young University in 2005. She has taught group and individual piano lessons as a business owner in her home music studio and at a private music academy. Joanna lives in Lincoln, Nebraska with her husband and six children. She enjoys volunteering in the community, playing the piano, cross-stitching, hiking with her family, and taking her kids to the library.

Suzie McKeon

Suzie was born and raised in Southern California, but has since lived in many fascinating places with her family. She holds a B.S. in Health Education and Nutrition. She has worked in education and transportation management. Suzie has spent many hours volunteering with refugees in the US, Italy, and Romania and has a passion for helping people find their place in this world. She spends most of her free time with her husband and their five children playing games, hiking, reading and having fun.

Alyssa Winberg

Born and raised in Southern California, Alyssa traded in sun and surf for corn and cows. She resides in Kearney, NE, with her husband and two daughters. Alyssa earned a bachelor's degree from BYU-Idaho, where she led her university newspaper as editor-in-chief and interned at a local news station covering politics and breaking news. Alyssa's family spent the past eight years traveling around the U.S. for her husband's sports reporter career while she worked as a marketing copywriter.

Emily Schmidt

Emily grew up all over the Midwest before moving west for college. She attended Utah State University and fell in love with the mountains, the outdoor activities and the people of Utah. She currently lives in North Logan, Utah with her husband and four children. When she is not working, she is generally playing chauffeur to her kids and trying to find time to hike the trails, plan trips to cool destinations and read as many books as possible!

Jami Blomstedt

Jami was born and raised near Salt Lake City, Utah. She received a degree in Psychology and then a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. There, she met and married her husband and decided to call Lincoln home. They have four busy and wonderful children. Jami worked as a mental health therapist for twelve years for a non-profit organization, and then in private practice. In her spare time, she enjoys music, cheering on her children in their various activities, and spending time outdoors.
